Ryan Steer left July 2nd from Vancouver, B.C. to travel across Canada before returning to his
hometown of Brantford, Ont.StanleyCola heard of his expedition and knew immediately
that this was a story that needed to be heard. For Ryan was not traveling for charity and the only
cause he was walking for was his own. Too often do we rely on others to heal, the ability and
drive to heal ourselves has become so increasingly rare and during a time when we seem
to need it the most.
Follow Ryan's journey and you can see that he is just a regular guy. He doesn't have a bulging
wallet to travel in comfort, he doesn't have super survival skills and he started his journey
with very little attention and support. What Ryan has is an understanding that he needed to take
care of himself, body, mind and soul. Ryan could be your neighbour, your coworker or he could be you.
He is the uncensored everyman and relateable to many. This is what makes his journey stick out
from others. If Ryan can achieve this amazing feat -across Canada and home in 90 days- imagine
what you could do.
